Joanne Lau was in the BBC Writersroom Comedy Room and on the BBC New Talent Hotlist 2017. She has been a finalist for BAFTA Rocliffe, Cinequest, and Sitcom Mission. Her first play was shortlisted for the Royal Court Theatre/Kudos Writing Fellowship 2019. Joanne has written for BBC Radio 4, CBBC, and CBeebies. Joanne’s mentor is Selina Lim.
